I study linguistics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). I'm on the second year of my master degree, and for the last few years I've also been taking subjects in informatics at the Gløshaugen campus. Right now, part of the focus of my studies is on programming and computer science, so I can implement the more computationally oriented methods of linguistics in computational linguistics.
The project of my master thesis is TX2XLFG, which is a tool that allows the development of LFG grammars for XLFG5 via texts exported directly from TypeCraft.
I'm also very interested in music, and I'm interested exploring ways of annotating and analyzing examples from the musical genres of various cultures, in a way similar to how we understand the syntactic and morphological features of the associated languages.
